Simple Soup
Simple Soup
1 pkt mee lidi or vercimilli rice - cooked in boiling water
Half pot of water
2 shallots - sliced
1 clove garlic - crushed
2 squids - ring cut
8 prawns
1 pkt fish ball - halved
1 pc fish cake - cut n sliced
carrot - sliced
celery - diced
sawi
1 tomato - quartered
chicken stock
salt to taste
Bring water, garlic and shallots to boil. Add in chicken stock, fish balls, fish cake, carrot and celery. Simmer for 2 minutes. Add in squids and prawns. Bring to cooked. Put in tomato and add salt to taste.
To serve: Place mee in a soup plate and pour the soup on top. Garnish with onion spring and fried onion if any.
