Spring Onion Bun


Actually, you can varies your buns from one recipe. I got the idea from Alex Goh's The World of Bread. Suitable with any sweet bun dough recipe, we only need to prepare the toppings.

Toppings ingredients
60g butter
1 egg
50g spring onions, cut into dices

Method
Topping: Mix well all ingredients.

Divide dough into 60g pieces and roll into round shape.
Rest for 10 minutes then shape them into ovals.
Place onto a greased pan, slash the top with sharp knife and leave to prove for 45 minutes.
Brush with egg wash (check here) and put the spring onion mixture on top.
Bake at 190 deg C for 12-15 minutes. Serve.
